Interesting to see Adam Blacklaw’s name on the League goalscorers list. That did stump me!
But what could be better for any passionate Clarets fan, returning from victory from far flung places such as Plymouth or Ipswich, than improving their knowledge of their Football Club, the history, the tradition, the players and the managers.

A PAIR of authors have produced the ultimate challenge for clued-up Clarets.
Kevin Snelgrove and Chris Cowlin’s Official Burnley Quiz Book contains 800 brain-teasers about the people and places that make up the club’s history.
Chris said it had been great fun researching the book. He added: “This book will bring back some great memories for fans of all ages.
“I am delighted by the feedback so far from fans and ex-players who have enjoyed testing their knowledge on the club.”
The foreword to the book is provided by former Clarets legend Martin Dobson, who enjoyed two spells with the club.
He praised the authors for the amount of work they have put in.

It really is the ultimate challenge for clued-up Clarets. Chris and Kevin seem to have an encyclopedic knowledge of Burnley FC and it really shines through in the book. Some of the answers will definitely open the floodgates to memories of some special glory days for fans of all ages.
